Terms and Conditions
A window, door and conservatory enquiry service for Nottingham and the surrounding area.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply whenever you visit this website, send an enquiry through it or ring the number it shows. Using the site means you agree to them, so please spend a few minutes reading them.
What the Service Is
Nottingham Double Glazing takes enquiries about windows, doors and conservatories from households in Nottingham and the surrounding area, and passes each one to an independent local installer. It is not a double glazing company. It doesn't make, supply, survey or install anything, it employs no fitters, and it doesn't act as agent for any firm.
Cost to You
Sending an enquiry costs you nothing, and you're under no obligation to accept any quote that follows. Our income is an introduction fee that the installer may pay us. The price of the work is set by the installer alone.
We Don't Check Installers
We do not inspect, approve or check any installer that receives an enquiry from us. Passing your details to an installer is not a recommendation, and it's no guarantee of the quality of the products or the fitting. The checks worth making before you sign are set out in how to choose an installer.
Your Contract Is with the Installer
If you decide to go ahead, the contract for your windows, doors or conservatory is made directly between you and the installer. We are not a party to it, and we have no say over the price, the specification, the survey, the lead time or the installation.
Any claim about the products or the fitting is a claim against the installer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to you must be of satisfactory quality, and a service must be performed with reasonable care and skill.
Cancelling a Made-to-Measure Order
A contract signed at home normally comes with a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Made-to-measure windows are usually exempt from that right, even when the contract is signed at home, because they are made to your specifications. Some installers offer a cancellation period of their own choosing, and standard products or the fitting part of a job may still be cancellable. So decide before you sign, and ask the installer how cancellation works before you put pen to paper.
General Information on This Site
Every guide, service page and area page on this site is written as general information for homeowners. They aren't advice about your property, and the figures in the cost guides are typical ranges rather than quotes. The disclaimer explains this in more detail.
Limits on Our Liability
We accept no liability for any installer's products, workmanship, quotes, advice, delays or conduct, or for loss that arises from relying on the general information on this site. These terms leave untouched any liability the law says can't be excluded or limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Using the Site Fairly
Please don't submit fake enquiries, try to gather other people's personal details, or do anything that could harm the site or slow it down. We may decline to forward an enquiry that looks as though it breaks these terms.

Where these pages link to councils, government departments, regulators or advice services, those websites are outside our control and we aren't responsible for what they say.
