Who Looks After Your Enquiry
A window, door and conservatory enquiry service for Nottingham and the surrounding area.
Nottingham Double Glazing is run by a handful of people who work at desks rather than out of vans. None of them measures up windows, hangs front doors or puts up conservatories, because that isn't what this service is for. Their job is to take in enquiries from homes across Nottingham and the towns around it, make sure each one is complete, and send it on to an independent installer who works in that area. Instead of a page of names and headshots, here is what each role involves.
Answering calls and forms. This is the part you're most likely to come across. If a message arrives with a gap in it, such as a missing postcode or no mention of whether the property is a flat, a quick call or email fills the gap before anything is passed on. A front door that won't lock properly goes through ahead of someone collecting prices for a job next year.
Writing and updating the guides. Somebody has to keep the cost, planning, grants and how-to-choose guides current. Price ranges are taken from published UK sources and compared with one another, and every guide shows the year its figures apply to. When a government energy scheme opens, closes or changes its rules, the grants guide is changed to match.
Checking the local detail. The area pages mention conservation areas, listed buildings and which council looks after which streets. Those details are checked against what Nottingham City Council and the neighbouring district and borough councils publish, and corrected when their guidance changes.
Looking after the website. The last role is the technical one: keeping pages quick to load, easy to read on a phone and usable with a keyboard alone, and fixing anything reported through the accessibility statement.
We don't inspect or approve the installers who receive enquiries, and we won't vouch for any of them. If you'd like to make your own checks before anyone comes to measure up, how to choose an installer walks you through them.
