Nottingham Double Glazing

Disclaimer

A window, door and conservatory enquiry service for Nottingham and the surrounding area.

A matching service, not an installer. Nottingham Double Glazing sends your enquiry to one independent installer in your area. We don't make, supply, survey, install or guarantee any window, door or conservatory, and any agreement about the work is between you and the installer.

No checks on the installer. We don't inspect or approve the installers who receive enquiries, and we don't confirm their insurance, guarantees, scheme registrations or past work. Do your own checks before committing to anything; how to choose an installer explains what to ask for.

General information only. Everything on this website is general information for homeowners in and around Nottingham. None of it is professional, financial or legal advice about your home or your circumstances.

Prices. The figures in the cost guides are typical UK ranges drawn from published sources and dated to the year shown on each guide. They aren't quotes. What you're charged in the end depends on the sizes, the materials, the access and the installer you choose.

Planning permission and listed buildings. What this site says about planning permission, conservation areas, listed buildings and flats and maisonettes is general information, not advice, based on government, Historic England and council guidance published at the time of writing. The rules vary between councils and between properties, and they change. An Article 4 direction, where one is in force, can take away the permitted-development rights that would otherwise cover replacement windows and doors, so ask your council whether any direction applies to your address. For anything that may need planning permission or listed building consent, speak to your local planning authority before you place an order.

Building regulations. Replacing a whole window or door counts as building-regulations work in England, and what this site says about building regulations is general information, not advice. Before the job starts, ask the installer which FENSA, CERTASS or other scheme certificate the work will produce, or check with your council's building control team.

Grants. The double glazing grants guide is general information, not advice, about schemes as they stood when it was last updated. Whether you qualify is decided by the scheme and the council or organisation running it, not by us or by any installer. We don't apply for grants on anyone's behalf, and nothing on this site means you will qualify for one.

Consumer rights. Where these pages explain cancellation, section 75 or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they give general information, not legal advice. For help with your own contract, contact the Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133 or speak to a solicitor.

Timings. Survey dates, lead times and fitting dates are for the installer to arrange, so this site makes no promise about when anyone will visit or when the work will be finished.

Links to other websites. We aren't responsible for the content of council, government or other outside websites we link to.

Nottingham Double Glazing passes enquiries to independent local window and door installers, and each installer surveys and prices the job itself. Nothing is made, sold or fitted by us, and we don't check or approve any installer. How we are paid.
