Accessibility Statement
A window, door and conservatory enquiry service for Nottingham and the surrounding area.
Everyone should be able to use this website, including people who move through a page with a keyboard, have text read aloud by text-to-speech software, zoom in on the text or switch the site's colours to their own.
What We Aim For
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, at conformance level AA. In practice that means:
- page content that stays readable when JavaScript is turned off
- one main heading on each page, with the headings under it in a logical order
- alternative text on any photo that carries meaning
- text, link and button colours measured against the AA contrast thresholds
- a visible label on every form field, and forms you can fill in and send without a mouse
- layouts that fit a narrow phone and still read properly at 200% text size
Known Issues
No independent audit has been carried out yet, so there may be problems we haven't found. The ones we're aware of are:
- The price tables in the cost guides are wide and may need scrolling sideways on a small phone.
- The call-tracking script can swap in a different phone number after the page has loaded, which may make text-to-speech software read the number twice.
- A few image descriptions are short and could say more about what the photo shows.
Reporting a Problem
If part of the site doesn't work for you, email info@nottinghamdoubleglazing.com or call 0115 718 1047, tell us which page it was and what happened, and we'll try to fix it. If the quote form is awkward to use, you can give us the details of your windows or doors by phone or email instead. If you're unhappy with how we respond, our complaints policy explains what happens next.
We last went through this statement in September 2026.
